Our June ride is to Kilmacolm and Greenock
A bumper GoBike weekend is coming up, with the delayed GoBike AGM on Saturday at the Pearce Institute in Govan and then our ride on Sunday.
On our way out of Glasgow we will join up with NCN route 75 through Paisley and follow this to Kilmacolm. After lunch (bring your own or join others in a cafe), we will continue along the path to Port Glasgow, but leave it on the edge of the town for a hilly detour to overlook the lower River Clyde.
We will then descend into Greenock for the train home. However, if there is sufficient interest, there will be an optional detour to Murdieston Park and Reservoirs to see parts of the town we otherwise would never have cause to visit.
30 miles or so for the ride.
See you there!
