Sunday 07 August: ride with GoBike to Gleniffer Braes
We will head southwest out of Glasgow, passing through Bellahouston and Pollok. We will pick up paths alongside the Levern Water and follow these into Barrhead. Then we’ll climb up the hill out of the town, before ending up at the Gleniffer Braes.
We will then descend into southern Paisley and head for the White Cart path back into Glasgow, with an option to go via the Clyde Tunnel. We’ll stop for a break at Gleniffer Braes Country Park, so bring something to eat.
25 miles, with significant climbing. A section will be on an unsurfaced path at Gleniffer Braes Country Park.
Meet at 10:00 at the north end of Bell’s Bridge at the SEC.
