Today is #GlasgowCycleInfraDay18

It’s Friday, it’s the 7th September and it’s…

#GlasgowCycleInfraDay18

So, when on your bike today, as part of your commute, group ride, or just popping down the street for some milk, take a photograph of that piece of infrastructure that you like, as well as one of that makes you curse every time you use it or pass it.

Then post these photos to twitter, with some witty bants, as well as tagging the location, including the street name and adding the hashtag #GlasgowCycleInfraDay18.

If you have the time it would also be great if you could add your tweets to our interactive map.  Just add a pin to the location on the map and include the URL of the relevant tweet.  Don’t worry if you can’t, as we will be going through the tweets and adding them to the map over the weekend.

You’ll be able to watch the gallery build throughout the day by keeping an eye on the hashtag on Twitter.

Remember, this is supposed to be an easy way of documenting a day in the life of Glasgow’s cycling infrastructure.  So please be sensible; don’t go dashing across busy roads to get an ‘action shot’, or exploring the collapsed section of the cycle lane along the Clyde to show the damage after the weir jammed last week.

Most importantly… have fun!
